Dave Thomas put more than 50 years of experience of the professional golf industry into the creation of Abama’s golf course, now widely regarded as one of his greatest achievements. Rambling over 6,271 metres of ever-changing terrain, it features 22 lakes linked by impressive waterfalls and white-sand bunkers, and 25,000 palm trees. The course reaches a high point of 315 metres above sea level, and most holes provide spectacular views of the Atlantic and the island of La Gomera. The large greens provide an infinite choice of flag positions which, combined with the wide tee areas at each hole, makes the course accessible to players with high handicaps, and a challenge even for the most experienced golfer.

Golfers have state-of-the-art electric golf buggies at their disposal, each equipped with an on-board GPS system displaying detailed information about every hole, and its own personal water cooler. To make sure our golfers keep well nourished at each stage of this
demanding course, fresh fruit and water are available around the golf course. Our exceptional club house includes dressing rooms, an outdoor rest and relaxation lounge and a shop stocked with a full range of professional golf equipment. Golf Academy available. Casa Club restaurant and Bar.

The original project of 27 holes was made by the famous designer Pepe Gancedo. But Manuel Piñero was the person in charge turning the Golf del Sur into the only golf course on the Canary Islands with 3 courses after renewing the enlargement of the Links course in 2005.The morphology of the soil has a remarkable influence on the features of each round. The presence of the sea and the impressive ravines on the course, giving the player the opportunity to enjoy each visit made to Golf del Sur. The fairways, wide and undulating, are dotted with many natural obstacles. The presence of various water hazards is in clear contrast with the incredible volcanic sand bunkers protecting the greens. Golf del Sur facilities are at the same level of the greatest European golf resorts. The Club House, in traditional style can host events of any kind, with a wonderful catering service from its restaurant. The Pro Shop offers a wide range of first line products.

Golf Costa Adeje is surprising because it is superbly adapted to its surroundings. Pepe Gancedo designed an unusual layout respecting the old farm terraces that slope down to the sea framed by the original dry stone walls. With really beautiful views of the ocean, the island of La Gomera and the rugged Adeje mountains, this unique golf course features 27 holes on wide greens and obstacles such as gorges and lakes. In 2003, 9 more holes were added to Golf Costa Adeje. The Los Lagos course is short, but technical challenge to the time bereft player. As with the championship course, the ocean views are astounding. The pleasant and spacious Club House has large terraces and a central courtyard. An unusual feature is the lift which takes you down to the driving range in your buggy.

Golf Las Americas
In the centre of Playa de Las Américas, one of the most famous holiday resorts in the south of the island, Golf Las Américas stands out for its fantastic location in a natural amphitheatre facing the sea with superb ocean views of the island of La Gomera. The designer, John Jacobs, gave priority to the obstacles on this 18 hole, par 72 course, which covers a total of 6,039 metres. The club house is an architectural gem with comfortable balconies offering excellent views of the golf course. Luxury and friendliness in one spot.

Right next to the ocean, the landscape designer Donald Steel created an 18-hole golf course overlooking the sea where you are sometimes obliged to drive the ball over the waves onto the next green. This is the case with the 5th hole, certainly one of the most spectacular on the course. Palm trees, cannas indicas, Canary pine trees and obstacles liven up your round of golf at this course, which also boasts fantastic views of Teide. The club has a pitch and putt course, a swimming pool and a horse riding club.
Architect: Donald Steel
Inauguration date: 1989

Length: 5918 m
Operating Season: Open all year round
Handicap certificate required: (gentlemen 28, ladies 36)
Average temperature all year: 23º C aprox

Located on striking cliffs and flanked by the impressive Teno Country Park, the Seve Ballesteros designed Buenavista Golf enjoys close proximity to the stunning coastline. On several of the greens it feels like you are hitting the ball into the ocean. In the first half, the most demanding holes are the par fours and in the second half the par threes require greater precision, particularly the 15th and the 17th holes, both on the edge of a cliff. Large central lake in front of the Club House between the 9th and 18th holes and a waterfall are water obstacles that lend a fresh feel to this unusual course in North Tenerife. An enjoyable 18 holes and a Club House boasting superb panoramic views of the entire course.
Architect: Severiano Ballesteros (Trajectory)
Inauguration date: 2003

Length: 6019 m

Tecina Golf is located in the Island of La Gomera, in the Canary Islands. The Course is situated on the Lomada de Tecina, a privileged area with spectacular views over the Atlantic Ocean, the Island of Tenerife and the Teide. This happens due to the fact that from the 1st Tee until the 18th Green there is a 175 metres drop and a downslide rate of 10 %, which gives a very wide vision angle. The player can see the Ocean from every spot on the Golf Course, which blends into a fantastic landscape that is a pleasure to the eye. Tecina Golf is a challenge to every type of player, since although it has generous fairways, which invite the player to hit the ball freely, the shots into the greens are quite demanding. They are protected by numerous bunkers, and with quite undulated greens and surroundings, giving it a very links course type landscape.
