European Center Golf Club
The golf - course surrounds the geographical center of Europe and occupies an area of over 83 hectares.The length the golf - course fields amount to 6600 meters, which enables golfers to play a round in 71 stroke. The golf - coures has been designed to not only be user - friendly for beginners, but also provide an opportunity to play a round for professionals and make use of all clubs in the bag. Professionals are invited to play an extremely complex game, which involves numerous water hazards, such as Lake Girija, plenty of natural ponds, water channels, and other natural obstacles to constantly keep golfers on their toes!
Another unique feature of the "European Center Golf Club" is the proximity of cultural and historical heritage objects within the area, i.e. a mound, an alka (a place of pagan sacrifice) hill, and an oak grove commemorating land reform. More over, one of the famous geodetic stations of the arc of the meridian has been determined to be near the golf club. The geodetic station station is station is also included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Capitals Golf Course
The course is estiblished in the territory of 145 ha, the area for the golf course lies in a dramatically varied landscape containing natural lakes, streams, wooded areas and magnificent views of the unspoiled surrounding countryside. These qualities, combined with the areas natural undulations, provide a perfect background for a memorable golfing experience.
High priority is given to state-of the-art green and tee construction as well as quick and effective course drainage in order to provide good golfing conditions and optimal length of the golf season. The high central position of the clubhouse area create a perfect setting for satisfying private, as well as corporate business related requirements. Areas for accommodating larger group activities are reserved close to the clubhouse.
Conveniently situated close to the clubhouse and parking areas are the golf practice facilities and of course the first and tenth tees. The practice tee is covered for training in bad weather. The design and planning of the golf course takes into consideration environmental and ecological aspects as well as the landscape. It is of prime importance that the golf course will have a positive influence upon the nature of the area. In order to achieve this goal separate environmental improvements are planned.
