Wonderful cultural tour Ireland

August 19 Greeted arrival Dublin Airport.

The 4 star Trinity City Hotel is in the centre of Dublin and directly opposite the famous Trinity College. It is an ideal Dublin base. After check in we will have a private two hour walking tour of Dublin. This is an exceptional tour and everyone will enjoy it and learn much about the citys history and landmarks. In the evening the guests will be brought for dinner at www.oneillspubdublin.com O'Neills is 5 minutes walk from the hotel and in the heart of Dublin.

August 20. The guests will be collected at 10.00am and brought to www.museum.ie which is Irelands leading Museum. That will be followed by a visit to www.kilmainhamgaolmuseum.com which is very significant in terms of Irish Independence which occurred 100 years ago. The party will then go to the nearby museum of modern art and if they wish, enjoy lunch there. In the afternoon we will visit www.guinness-storehouse.com and walk in Dublin Castle before returning to the hotel.

August 21 Check out Trinity City Hotel 9am and depart for Kilkenny via powerscourt.com through the Sally gap and visiting the historic Glendalough.
The party will check into www.kilkennyormonde.com and in the afternoon visit www.kilkennycastle.ie St. Canices Cathedral and the Black Abbey. Kilkenny is a beautiful city and the party will have many options for the evening from quality restaurants to pubs specialising in traditional Irish music.

August 22. Check out Ormonde Hotel at 9am and depart for Cork visiting www.cashel.ie The history dates back to the 5th century and subsequently was the seat of the regions High Kings. In the afternoon check into www.thekingsley.com This is a rather special hotel on the banks of the river Lee. In the afternoon the party will visit the nearby University College Cork, www.shandonbells.ie and Corks famous English Market. 

August 23 Check out the Kingsley Hotel 9am and visit www.blarneycastle.ie Our guests can kiss the Blarney Stone and get 'the gift of the gab' (This is old Irish folklore meaning that anyone who kisses the Blarney stone will never be short of something to say). Our driver will then drive to Killarney and our guests will check in at the www.thebrehon.com for two nights. The afternoon will be spent showing the party the local national park, the magnificent lakes and sites of ancient interest. In the late afternoon the group will be taken on a special trip with www.killarneyjauntingcars.com

August 24. After breakfast the group will be taken on a tour of the ring of Kerry. Weather permitting we will include a boat trip around Skellig Michael with www.skelligislands.com Monks lived on this remote outcrop a thousand years ago and their bee hive huts remain. More recently Skellig Michael featured in a star wars movie !!! The ring of Kerry is beautiful and your driver will stop in the towns of Waterville and Caherdaniel.

August 25. Depart the Brehon after breakfast stopping for morning coffee (included in price) at the beautiful www.adaremanor.com . The driver will later stop to allow for lunch. In the afternoon the group will check in to the Trinity City Hotel and that evening we will host a dinner for the party at www.quaysrestaurant.com 

August 26 check out Trinity City Hotel and transfer Dublin Airport for departure.
